The round feels more demanding than the quiet countryside setting first suggests. Broad views are interrupted by wetland edges, ponds and doglegs that repeatedly narrow the safest line. Several holes reward disciplined positioning rather than maximum distance, while the strongly contoured greens create another layer of difficulty. The terrain is not severely mountainous, but scoring becomes difficult when tee shots drift away from the intended side of the fairway.
Pleasant Valley occupies rolling land in Bang Phra near the Khao Kheow area, where low hills frame a course shaped by ponds, lakes and reed-edged wetland ground. The property is not a steep mountain layout; its elevation changes are generally modest and contained within the routing. Water gives the course its strongest physical identity, creating open countryside views while also defining many of the decisions golfers face throughout the round.
The design uses water, doglegs and angled landing areas to make placement more important than raw distance. Wide-looking fairways can be deceptive because the useful side is often determined by the next approach and the safest route towards the green. Ponds and wetland edges punish shots that travel too far offline, while shorter holes encourage golfers to challenge hazards for a simpler second shot. Conservative positioning keeps the ball in play, but overly defensive choices can leave longer approaches into heavily contoured greens.
Select a tee that keeps the longer water-influenced holes manageable and allows confident approach distances.
Aim for the side of each fairway that opens the next shot rather than simply chasing maximum distance.
Choose conservative targets when ponds or wetland edges narrow the landing area or punish the larger miss.
Use the caddie’s local knowledge on the contoured greens, where both pace and break are easy to underestimate.
The front nine measures 3,530 yards from the black tees and opens with two substantial par 4s followed by the 601-yard par-5 third, placing immediate pressure on controlled driving. Its two par 3s arrive at holes five and eight before the nine closes with another par 4.
The back nine measures 3,472 yards and begins with three consecutive par 4s. Its closing sequence moves from a par 4 at the 16th to the short par-3 17th and a par-5 finish, preserving a final scoring opportunity without relying on unverified signature-hole claims.
Pleasant Valley has a clubhouse, restaurant, locker rooms and pro shop for visiting golfers. Rental clubs can be requested in advance, subject to availability. A caddie is required, and Fairways of Eden includes a golf cart with the booking. Walking availability and any day-specific cart rules should be confirmed when the tee time is approved. Golfers planning a range warm-up should also confirm current practice-facility availability before travelling.
The current starting rate is displayed dynamically in the booking card above. It covers the inclusions shown alongside the rate, while the final playing date, tee time and availability remain subject to confirmation by the course.
Pleasant Valley is more demanding than its peaceful setting initially suggests. Water, wetland edges, doglegs and strongly contoured greens create repeated decision points. Golfers who keep the ball in play can score, but inaccurate driving and weak distance control are punished quickly.
Complete beginners may find the repeated water pressure and difficult greens uncomfortable. Newer golfers with some course experience can still enjoy the round by choosing forward tees, using conservative targets and avoiding unnecessary risks. It is better suited to confident beginners than first-time golfers.
A caddie is required. Fairways of Eden includes a golf cart with the booking. Walking availability and any day-specific cart restrictions should be reconfirmed when the tee time is approved rather than being promised as a permanent course rule.
The course is in Bang Phra, Si Racha, Chon Buri, north of Pattaya and near the Khao Kheow area. Journey time varies according to the exact pickup location and traffic, so private-transfer timing should be confirmed for each booking.
