Rachakram moves through medium-length par fours, four contrasting par threes and four par fives, with the back nine slightly longer than the front from the blue tees. Open sightlines give the round a spacious rhythm, but blind water hazards and wind complicate club selection. The sequence changes sharply around the short 11th, the long par fives at 12 and 14, and the 419-yard closing par four.
Rachakram occupies open ground in Chang Yai, Bang Sai, beyond Bangkok’s dense urban core. Its identity comes less from elevation than from exposure: broad views, recurring water and wind that can lengthen the course’s par fives. The open setting creates a calm visual character without removing strategic uncertainty, because several water hazards are not fully visible from the playing line. That contrast between spaciousness and concealed trouble gives the course its clearest physical identity.
Dr Sukitti Klangvisai’s routing creates contrast through changes in hole length rather than major elevation. The published blue scorecard moves from a 495-yard par five at the 3rd to long par threes at 4 and 8, then places 575- and 593-yard par fives at 12 and 14. Open corridors can encourage aggressive play, but the club specifically identifies blind water hazards and wind as recurring challenges. The design therefore rewards controlled positioning, realistic carry decisions and disciplined club selection more than indiscriminate power.
Use the four published tee sets to keep the long par fives and extended par threes within a realistic playing range.
Open sightlines can be misleading, so confirm unseen hazards and safe landing areas before committing to an aggressive line.
Leave additional distance margin on exposed holes because headwinds can make the course’s longest holes play substantially longer.
Ask the caddie to confirm concealed water, the intended line and the safest miss before important tee and approach shots.
12th – Par 5: At 575 yards from the blue tee, the 12th begins the back nine’s most demanding long-hole sequence. Wind can turn an already long hole into a clear three-shot decision.
14th – Par 5: The 593-yard 14th is the longest hole on the published blue scorecard. Its scale makes controlled advancement and distance management more valuable than forcing a low-percentage second shot.
17th – Par 3: The final par three measures 209 yards from the blue tee. It demands committed long-club control late in the round before the 419-yard closing par four.
Rachakram’s official fact sheet lists a restaurant, locker rooms, function rooms, a putting green, pro shop and on-course kiosks. Fairways of Eden arranges one caddie per golfer and includes a golf cart with the tee-time booking. The club also advertises night golf, although the available operating window should be confirmed for the requested date. Rental clubs should be requested in advance because availability is not guaranteed, and golfers should arrive early enough to complete check-in before the confirmed tee time.
The current starting rate is displayed dynamically in the booking card above. It covers the inclusions identified beside the rate, while the final tee time, availability and booking details remain subject to confirmation by Rachakram Golf Club.
Rachakram is manageable from an appropriate forward tee but becomes substantially more demanding from the longer tees. Its main challenges are extended par fives, long par threes, wind exposure and water hazards that are not always fully visible from the playing line.
Beginners can play Rachakram when they choose an appropriate tee and accept that water and several long holes will still create pressure. It is better suited to beginners with basic course experience than to someone attempting a first complete round.
Fairways of Eden arranges one caddie per golfer and includes a golf cart with the tee-time booking. The final confirmation will state the course’s current operating rules, removing the need to organise either service separately.
Rachakram Golf Club is at 84 Moo 1, Chang Yai, Bang Sai, Ayutthaya, northwest of Bangkok. Journey time varies substantially with the departure point and traffic, so golfers should normally allow approximately 60–90 minutes from central Bangkok.
Fairways of Eden handles the tee-time request, availability check, green-fee confirmation, caddie and cart arrangements, and any optional private transfer. Rental clubs can be requested when available. You receive one clear confirmation showing the confirmed playing time, included services and practical details needed for the day.
