Phuket is buzzing with energy right now, and golf is at the center of it all. One of Thailand’s most iconic golf courses, Blue Canyon Country Club, is hosting the ANNIKA Invitational Asia from April 22–25, 2025 – and Fairways of Eden was lucky enough to get a sneak peek from the neighboring Lakes Course.
We couldn’t be more excited to see this world-class event take place at one of our partner courses, and to top it off, we’re just days away from hosting our very own fun-packed tournament: the “May the 4th Be With You” Golf Event.

🏌️ Blue Canyon Country Club: A Legendary Course in Phuket
Nestled in lush tropical surroundings, Blue Canyon Country Club is a name known well in both professional and recreational golf circles. Located just 15 minutes from Phuket International Airport, it boasts two stunning 18-hole courses: The Lakes Course そして The Canyon Course.
The Canyon Course, where the ANNIKA Invitational Asia is currently being held, is renowned for its dramatic elevation changes, strategic water hazards, and lush fairways carved into the jungle. It has hosted numerous international events, including the Johnnie Walker Classic, where Tiger Woods famously triumphed.

⛳ Who Is Annika Sörenstam?
Annika Sörenstam is widely considered one of the greatest golfers in history. With 10 major championships, 72 LPGA Tour victories, and a reputation for breaking barriers, Annika has become an icon of the sport.
Since retiring from professional competition, Annika has turned her attention to youth development and creating opportunities for the next generation of players through the ANNIKA Foundation. Her foundation has built a global network of tournaments that give girls a chance to compete at the highest level and earn college opportunities, including through the ANNIKA Invitational Series.

Running from April 22nd to 25th, 2025, the ANNIKA Invitational Asia brings together top junior female golfers from across the continent to compete in a world-class setting.
The tournament not only provides international exposure for rising stars but also promotes Annika’s core values: honesty, integrity, and dedication to excellence. It’s part of a global calendar of elite junior events, and its presence at Blue Canyon’s Canyon Course is a testament to the club’s prestige.
During our own visit to play the Lakes Course, we had the chance to catch a glimpse of the event and watch some incredibly talented young athletes in action. There’s something special about seeing future stars walking the same fairways as legends.
