Grand Prix Golf Club feels broad and open from several tees, but its visible width regularly conceals the importance of selecting the correct side of a split fairway. Pronounced mounding changes stance and rollout, while lakes, more than 95 bunkers and multi-level greens place pressure on both the driving line and approach distance. Golfers who find the putting surface on the wrong level can still face a difficult first putt across a strong break. From a suitable forward tee the course remains playable, but the 7,111-yard black-tee setup is a serious championship test.
Grand Prix Golf Club occupies a large inland property in Bo Phloi surrounded by forest, lakes, valleys and distant mountain scenery. The golf course itself uses approximately 400 rai within a wider estate extending across more than 2,400 rai, allowing the routing to feel spacious without becoming visually empty. Elevated areas provide long views across the property, while lower sections follow water and natural changes in ground level. The quiet countryside setting makes the course feel substantially removed from the busier golf environments around Bangkok, Pattaya and Hua Hin.
Grand Prix was designed around the balance between an aggressive route and a position-led alternative. Split fairways allow golfers to choose between a shorter but more heavily defended approach and a safer line that may leave additional distance. More than 95 bunkers create visual pressure and can disguise the depth of landing areas or raised greens, while pronounced contours make the approach position as important as reaching the target. The strongest strategy is to identify the preferred side of the fairway, protect against the major hazard and leave the ball on the same level as the flag whenever possible.
Choose a tee according to reliable carry distance; the 7,111-yard black-tee setup adds substantial pressure to long approaches and par fives.
Study both sides of split landing areas and favour the route that leaves the clearest approach rather than automatically taking the shortest line.
Use conservative targets when sand hides the landing area or surrounds a raised green; escaping sideways can remove any advantage gained from an aggressive shot.
Use your caddie’s advice on approach distance and contours because finishing above the hole or on the wrong tier can create a difficult first putt.
Hole 5: The par-five fifth is widely recognised as the course’s signature hole. It follows the natural movement of the property toward an elevated green protected by water, requiring golfers to decide whether to advance aggressively or leave a controlled final approach.
Hole 10: The 398-yard par four from the blue tees begins the back nine with a left dogleg. Bunkers guard the corner and the right side of the fairway, making the right-centre landing position valuable before an approach to a slightly elevated, back-to-front sloping green.
Split-fairway decisions: Several holes provide more than one route from tee to green. The shorter line is not automatically the best choice because bunkers, water, mounding and green angle can make the longer but better-positioned route considerably safer.
The hilltop clubhouse provides a restaurant, pro shop, banquet room, terrace and separate male and female locker facilities with showers and changing areas. Golfers can practise before the round at the driving range and putting green, while on-site hotel accommodation is available for overnight stays. One caddie is arranged for each golfer, and the caddie normally operates the golf cart during the round. Golfers should wear appropriate golf attire and arrive with sufficient time for registration, changing and warm-up. The final golf-cart arrangement, rental equipment and any private transfer are confirmed with the Fairways of Eden quotation.

Grand Prix Golf Club is an 18-hole, par-72 championship course. Its published lengths are 7,111 yards from black, 6,627 from blue, 6,258 from white, 5,841 from yellow and 5,534 from red.
Grand Prix Golf Club was developed under the direction of founder Dr. Prachin Eamlumnow in collaboration with experienced golf-course professional Prayad Chinnaraj. The club describes the layout as a balance between art, science and preservation of the natural property.
The par-five fifth is widely regarded as the signature hole. It plays through the natural landscape toward an elevated green protected by water and rewards careful second-shot positioning.
Grand Prix is demanding from the 7,111-yard black tees because of its length, extensive bunkering, split fairways, water hazards and strongly contoured greens. Suitable forward tees make the course more manageable, although positioning and approach control remain important.
Beginners can play Grand Prix from an appropriate forward tee, but the length, bunkering and multi-level greens make it more challenging than a simple introductory course. Less experienced golfers should favour conservative targets and follow their caddie’s advice.
