Anantasila sits right on Khao Takiab Beach at the southern end of Hua Hin, beneath the temple-topped Khao Takiab (Monkey Mountain) headland, with direct access to the soft sand and the Gulf of Thailand. Central Hua Hin — the Victorian-era railway station, the Night Market and the weekend Cicada Market — is just minutes north, and the Vana Nava water jungle is close for non-golfing days.
Golf access and getting around
This southern position is ideal for golf: Seapine Beach, one of Thailand’s only true coastal courses, is practically next door, while Royal Hua Hin (Thailand’s oldest course) sits in town by the railway station. The flagship Black Mountain Golf Club, ranked among Asia’s best, lies in the hills west of town, and the scenic Pineapple Valley (formerly Banyan) is close by. Most courses are 15–30 minutes away, and Bangkok is a 2.5–3 hour drive. The cooler, drier golf season runs November to April.
