Golf access and getting around
The central setting makes for very short transfers. Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, Thailand’s oldest, is practically in town beside the railway station; the flagship Black Mountain, ranked among Asia’s best, sits in the hills to the west; the scenic Pineapple Valley (formerly Banyan) is close by; and the Jack Nicklaus–designed Springfield Royal adds a championship test. Most courses are 15–30 minutes away, and Bangkok is a 2.5–3 hour drive. The prime golf season runs November to April.
