G Hua Hin Resort & Mall is a modern four-star boutique resort with its own shopping mall in central Hua Hin, a short walk from Hua Hin Beach and Market Village. The setting and convenience
G Hua Hin Resort & Mall sits on Soi 94 in the centre of Hua Hin, on the Gulf of Thailand’s western coast — a modern boutique resort built around its own small shopping mall with a supermarket, pharmacy and shops. The location is built for convenience: Hua Hin Beach is a short walk, Hua Hin Market Village is around the corner, and the Bluport mall, the Hua Hin Night Market and the weekend Cicada Market are all a few minutes away, with a free shuttle running to the malls and markets. Bangkok Hospital is right next door, and Hua Hin Airport is about 15 minutes by car.
Design, pool and dining
Built with a distinctive pier-and-industrial aesthetic — staggered rusted-metal slats outside, an airy open lobby and a six-storey atrium inside — the resort’s centrepiece is a large saltwater pool that’s long enough for a genuine lap swim, ringed by palm-shaded loungers and a poolside bar. The all-day Pier 94 restaurant serves Thai and European dishes, breakfast is a well-rated buffet, and there’s a spa and fitness centre on site. With 79 minimalist rooms and suites, it’s a comfortable, good-value choice that suits both couples and families.
Golf access and getting around
Hua Hin has long been one of Thailand’s friendliest golf bases, and the G is a particular favourite — most courses sit 15–35 minutes from the centre. Royal Hua Hin Golf Course, Thailand’s oldest, is practically in town beside the railway station, while Black Mountain Golf Club, ranked among Asia’s best, lies in the hills to the west. Pineapple Valley (formerly Banyan) adds a premium scenic round, and the wide, forgiving Palm Hills is a relaxed favourite. Bangkok is roughly a 3–3.5 hour drive, easy to fold into a longer trip. The cooler, drier golf season runs November to April.
