Deluxe Room
The Kee Resort & Spa is a modern four-star hotel in the heart of Patong, 240 metres from the beach and steps from Bangla Road. It’s built around a lagoon pool, swim-up bar and rooftop sky lounge, with Kathu’s golf 15 minutes away and the airport about 45.
The 40m² Deluxe Room sits in the main building with a double or twin layout, an en-suite bath and shower, and warm, earth-toned décor. Sliding bay-view doors open to a private terrace over the Patong skyline, and a large daybed converts to an extra bed when needed.
- Breakfast and Airport transfer to and from the hotel are included
This hotel is perfect for golfers who…
- want to be steps from Bangla Road and Patong Beach after their round
- are travelling as a group and want bars, dining and a buzzing pool on the doorstep
- prefer a lively, central base over a secluded resort
The setting and vibe
The Kee Resort & Spa sits right in the centre of Patong, a four-star hotel with a modern, retro-tinged style and Sino-Portuguese touches. It’s a two-minute walk to Patong Beach and around 150 metres to Bangla Road via the covered Soi Sea Dragon, so the island’s busiest dining, shopping and nightlife are quite literally on the doorstep. With 244 rooms it’s a sizeable property, but it’s laid out in a compact, central way rather than as a sprawling beachfront estate — the trade-off being convenience and energy over seclusion.
Pool, dining and spa
At its heart is a lagoon-style pool wrapped around a lively swim-up bar, while the rooftop Kee Sky Lounge — styled like the deck of a yacht — offers two levels, a hot tub and panoramic sunset views over Patong Bay on one side and the town on the other. Kee Kitchen serves all-day poolside dining, from a generous breakfast buffet to Thai signatures and wood-fired pizzas, and Kee Spa provides massages and treatments with an outdoor Jacuzzi — handy after a long day on the course or a late night out.
Golf access and getting around
For golf, The Kee is one of the most convenient bases on the island: the Kathu-valley courses — Red Mountain, Loch Palm and Phuket Country Club — are roughly 15 minutes inland, so you can play in the morning and be back at the pool bar by early afternoon. The championship Blue Canyon courses lie about 40 minutes north toward the airport. Because everything in Patong is within walking distance, you won’t need a taxi for dinner or drinks, and transfers only come into play for tee times. Phuket’s golf season runs November to April.
