Pool, dining and facilities

The hotel is built around a dramatic free-form pool with waterfalls and the Azure swim-up bar, and some ground-floor rooms open straight onto the water. Dining centres on Átrio, an Art Deco restaurant in the lobby atrium with live cooking stations and a breakfast buffet that guests consistently rate as a highlight, alongside the Barrocco lobby bar and the Mövenpick tradition of a complimentary daily Chocolate Hour. Golf access and getting around

For golf, the central position is convenient: the Kathu-valley courses — Red Mountain, Loch Palm and Phuket Country Club — are roughly 15 minutes inland, so you can play in the morning and be back by the pool by early afternoon. The championship Blue Canyon courses sit about 40 minutes north toward the airport. With Patong’s restaurants, bars and beach all within walking distance or a short shuttle, you only really need transfers for tee times. Phuket’s golf season runs November to April, the driest months and the best for course conditions.
